The road to the future: Nissan Leaf debuts in Eau Claire showroom

The market for electric cars in the Chippewa Valley is now a competitive one, with two different models in separate showrooms.
All it takes is a flip of a switch and the push of a button, and you’re cruising around town in a Nissan Leaf.
The electric car rolled into the showroom of Eau Claire Nissan earlier this month.
“And now that it’s in we’ve had a lot of people come in and take it for a test drive and look over the features over,” said Sales Manager John Nelson.
WEAU 13 News test drove the Leaf on Friday afternoon and found it to be a smooth and quiet ride.
“Everyone always comments on how it’s quiet,” Nelson said.
