Eau Claire school board approves superintendent’s retirement

The Eau Claire school district has reached an agreement to part with ways its superintendent.
Dr. Ron Heilmann has held the job for four years. Recently, he asked the district for an early release from his contract. Under the agreement approved by the board, Heilmann’s last day will be July 6th. The district will pay a majority of Heilmann’s health insurance, along with all of his dental insurance until he is eligible for Medicare in eight years.
