Council OKs first phase of new rural development

The first phase of a rural subdivision on the west side of the city has gotten the go-ahead from the Menomonie City Council.
On Monday, the council approved the final plat and developer’s agreement for Timber Canyon on the north side of Meadow Hill Drive. Phase I of the 30 lot subdivision will feature 12 lots on about 18 acres, with possible future development to the north and west of the property. The parcel is owned by Timber Ridge Homes, LLC, represented by Jamie Winsand.
